The first significant stop along the way is Meerut, located about 70 kilometres from Delhi. Meerut is a historical city known for its role in the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and serves as a major commercial centre in Uttar Pradesh.
Continuing along the highway, the next major town is Muzaffarnagar, approximately 130 kilometres from Delhi. This town is known for its thriving sugar industry and expansive sugarcane fields. Muzaffarnagar offers travellers a glimpse into the agricultural heartland of northern India.
As the journey progresses, the route leads to Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand, located around 240 kilometres from Delhi.
